3 White-Hat Ways of Dodging Spam Filters

Take a moment to think about something worth considering. Let’s say you spend half of your day cherry-picking essential prospects, writing an email as precisely as you can, and are all ready to send an email to the targeted audience.

Everything is good at this point. Right? Now you are sitting back, waiting for responses to come. A day passes by, no response.

Day by day passes, and you get no positive response from the targeted audience. Now, this is the time you start to worry and recheck your mail to see if you have made any blunders, only to know that you haven’t.

Things are pretty smooth from your side; then, where the problem started?

Well, one of the problems could be that they never saw your prospect because it never reached their inbox. Instead, it made its way to SPAM!

What an unpleasant situation. To educate yourself on how to avoid spam filters, this article is compiled for you. Let’s start with it!

Three Congenial Ways of Avoiding Spam Filters:

Assembled below are the things you can do to minimize the chances of your mail falling into the tummy of what the majority call ‘Cold Grave – Spam Box’.

1. Watch Out For the Status of Your and the Recipient’s IP Addresses

You must have heard about financial or social status in the past. You are familiar with these terms but unfamiliar with the status of your or the recipient’s IP address. Right?

Well, the status of the IP address reflects the reputation of the IP. It means if enough individuals or companies have reported your address or the address of the recipient, then the maximum chances are that the email you sent will land in the spam box.

Before sending an email, it is imperative to watch out for the company’s reputation to whom you are planning to send it. Otherwise, your email will go into the trash.

2. Mention the Complete Address of Your Organization or Company in the End

Relationships are built on mutual understanding and trust – be it professional or personal. To gain the trust of your targeted audience, it is indispensable to mention your address clearly in the end.

This will boost the confidence of the clients, and they will feel at ease. Otherwise, they will feel reluctant to contact you. In most cases, if a physical address is not mentioned clearly, emails end up in the spam box and never make their way to the inbox.

3. Monitor the Formatting of Your Email

This is important!

Poorly formatted emails are considered spam and are directed to the spam box without a second thought.

For that matter, it is all-important to format your email rightly. Right formatting means the following;

  • Font size: 11
  • Font style: Arial Black
  • Dismissing words like ‘ cash’ ‘double’ etc
  • Avoiding unnecessary blanks, double-spacing, use of CAPS, poor sentence structure, grammatical errors, and repetition of words
